WE LOVE OUR CRAFT
So what exactly does that mean?
It may mean something slightly different to each one of us here in the office, as well as those talented industry folks we work with on set.
An early love of stop motion movie making, shaping characters out of clay at the age of 12. A knack for picking out themes George Lucas sprinkled throughout the Star Wars trilogy back in the 80s. The excitement of anchoring the daily news for your high school news program.
These are all things that are part of our story and how our craft has been formed today. Scriptwriting, shooting, editing and the coordination it takes to bring it all together. No matter where we started, we all ended up in the same place, furthering our education and knowledge of this whole video thing.
Today this means keeping up on the latest technology as the world of visual imaging gets smarter and smarter by the day. It means understanding trends and media outlets to serve our clients better. It means being great communicators to make sure that every aspect of the project goes off without a hitch. We are scriptwriters, directors of photography, casting agents, location experts, insurance experts, furniture movers and coffee getters. So many little details go into a video production and we want to make sure that the process is easy and enjoyable for our clients.
So not only do we make the coffee in the morning, organize talent headshots, and coordinate productions, we will climb on to the roof of a building to block out windows that are not ideal for the set lighting, (yes that really happened, in the summer, in Boise, in 100 degree weather).
We genuinely love the process of making video from start to finish, and we believe that it is an art. We truly love our craft.
