ABOUT THE PROJECT:
We were thrilled to spend some time learning about the monastic lifestyle at Saint John’s Abbey this past year. We worked in close collaboration with some of the Brothers and marketing staff to document some amazing personal stories and everyday life at the Abbey. Becoming Benedictine is the first piece in an over arching campaign to bring fresh awareness to the audience by modernizing the perspectives people may have on the monastic lifestyle.
Multiple days were spent at the Abbey to gather interviews, lifestyle footage, as well as a few milestone events for the community. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn more about the monastic purpose and collaborate creatively to help tell their stories.
