CANTICLE PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS:
The Marquis de Mores and his beautiful new bride Medora step off the train into 1883 Dakota Territory with dreams of building a new home, a new town, and a meat-packing empire the like of which has never been seen before. Little did they know the odds they would face: prejudice and persecution from local ranchers; sabotage from beef trusts in the bigger cities; violent attacks from local roughnecks bent on killing them or driving them from Dakota Territory once and for all.
Based on the Incredible True Story.
POST-PRODUCTION SERVICES
Stringline Pictures served as the principal post-production house providing end-to-end post-production services. Working closely with Canticle Productions and D&N Cinematics, Stringline managed the post-production process ensuring a creative and cohesive visual and narrative experience aligned with director Daniel Bielinski’s artistic vision.
Our role included creative editing, asset management and final mastering. Acting as the central post-production partner, Stringline coordinated workflows, assets, and revisions with the producer/director, colorist, sound designer, composer, and visual effects teams.
“Filmmaking is such a collaborative art, so to be able to work directly from the script with Dan the director, work with beautifully shot scenes and character performances, it makes my editing process very enjoyable. It is a fun challenge to assemble scenes, feel out the pacing, and make choices that build the emotional impact and story structure of the script and ultimately the finished film.” -Shawn M. Lewis, Editor
This project reflects Stringline’s expertise in feature film post-production, long-form storytelling, and managing complex post workflows—supporting filmmakers and production partners with reliable, high-quality post-production leadership from start to finish.
